Welcome to No Screens Game Club (“App”), operated by Kidslox Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the App on iOS devices. By downloading or using No Screens Game Club, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. App Use
No Screens Game Club is a family activity app designed for parents to discover and play screen-free, real-life games with their children.
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes
- Supervise your children during all activities suggested by the App
- Ensure all information provided is accurate
You agree not to:
- Interfere with the App's operation or security
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App in a way that harms others
2. Accounts & Security
Account sign-in is optional. If you choose to sign in (via Apple Sign In or Google Sign In), you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials
- All activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Family Use & Children
No Screens Game Club is intended for use by parents and guardians. Children do not create accounts or sign in directly.
By using the App:
- You confirm you are a parent/guardian or have appropriate consent
- You consent to the collection of limited child information (first name and age) as described in our Privacy Policy
- You are responsible for supervising your child's safety during all game suggestions
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your child's information at any time.
4. Safety Disclaimer
Many games suggested by the App involve physical activity. You are solely responsible for assessing whether any suggested game is safe and appropriate for your child given their age, abilities, and the play environment.
We are not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the use of suggestions provided by the App.
5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
No Screens Game Club offers optional subscriptions to unlock premium features.
Payments are handled by:
- Apple App Store (iOS)
Please note:
- Payment will be charged at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
- Where applicable, a 7-day introductory offer may apply on first subscription; it converts automatically to the paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled
We do not manage billing directly and cannot issue refunds — please contact Apple support.
6. User Content
You may create content within the App such as favorites, ratings, and feedback notes.
You retain ownership of your content, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Store
- Process
- Display back to you
…solely to operate and improve the App.
You agree your content will:
- Be lawful and appropriate
- Not infringe third-party rights
7. Intellectual Property
All App content (excluding user content), including:
- Design
- Game descriptions and catalog
- Branding
…is owned by No Screens Game Club or its licensors.
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial use only.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using No Screens Game Club, you agree to our data practices as described there.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, and subscription processing.
We are not responsible for:
- Third-party services
- Their content or privacy practices
10. App Availability & Updates
We may:
- Modify or discontinue features
- Release updates automatically
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability
- Error-free operation
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Availability or reliability
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, No Screens Game Club is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
- Injury or damage arising from physical activities undertaken based on the App's suggestions
If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Misuse the App
You may stop using the App at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be communicated via the App or website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
15. Governing Law
Except for disputes that can be brought in small claims court, all disputes between you and us, including any dispute regarding this Agreement, shall be exclusively settled through binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) pursuant to the AAA's then-current rules for commercial arbitration. Any such arbitration proceeding will be conducted solely in English.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to conflict of law principles. If the arbitration provision in this section is found unenforceable or not to apply for a given dispute, then the proceeding must be brought exclusively in a court of Delaware jurisdiction.
